In 1997, I was working for Ferrellgas (in Liberty, MO) as a full-time programmer. A co-worker approached me about helping her friend with setting up a database to help manage her friend's business. I made enough money on that job to where it was tax-beneficial to create my own company. Thus, Omni Computer Solutions was born.
You can give your customers basic information about your company, including who you are, when and where your business came from, what you do, and how you are different from your competition. Besides the basic information, you might want to include your mission statement, your motto, your preferred business partners, your executive team or founder, and so forth. link to more info
You can include links to some of this information, such as your business relationships and your employee bios, instead of giving the details directly on your About Page. Make sure you use your About Page to establish your credibility and professional reputation and to help customers feel at ease and at home with using your services or products. link to more info
